ALLOY 400 PIPE, FITTINGS & FLANGES
Excellent resistance to seawater and high-velocity brackish water
Resists hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids across a range of concentrations
Retains strength and toughness from cryogenic temperatures up to about 1000°F (540°C)
Nominally 63% minimum nickel with 28–34% copper and small additions of iron and manganese, giving a single-phase solid-solution alloy.
